Felicia Schwartz is the diplomatic correspondent at POLITICO. In this role, Felicia has a broad mandate to cover U.S. foreign policy in conventional and unconventional channels, including trade negotiations, arms sales, nuclear and arms control discussions, peace talks, high-tech export restrictions and mineral extraction deals.

Felicia joined POLITICO in 2025 from the Financial Times, where she covered U.S. foreign and defense policy. She also spent eight years at The Wall Street Journal in its D.C. and Middle East bureaus as the State Department correspondent and as the Israel/Palestinian Territories correspondent.

Felicia graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in history.
