Mr. Opertti has over 20 years of experience in the fields of international trade, foreign direct investment, and regional integration. He is currently the manager of the Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in Washington, DC. In this capacity, Mr. Opertti leads the IDB’s efforts to promote trade and investment, economic integration and regional cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. He holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins’ School of Business, a Master’s in Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from American University.
