Eric Kaduru is a social entrepreneur with a passion for promoting youth entry into Uganda’s agriculture sector. After spending six years in marketing, Eric moved to Fort Portal, Uganda where he founded KadAfrica—a social enterprise that has created economic opportunity for more than 2,000 out of school girls through passion fruit farming using a proprietary curriculum training program called the KadAfrica Experience. As a farmer himself, Eric has a unique perspective on the difficulties facing Uganda’s smallholder farmers, including access to inputs and the realities of markets dominated by traders; he is committed to transforming this experience into a market-based approach to empowering out of school youth and smallholder farmers through agribusiness.
