Eloho Omame is the founding Managing Director & CEO of Endeavor in Nigeria. Endeavor is a mission-oriented, global organisation that is leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement in close to 40 underserved markets, including Nigeria.
Over a career spanning close to 20 years, Eloho has worked with entrepreneurs, companies and entrepreneurial teams across multiple industries, at a range of life-cycle stages.
She is a former Vice-President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where she focused on sub-Saharan Africa; former Head of Corporate Development at First Bank of Nigeria; and a former investment banker at Renaissance Capital and Credit Suisse, where she focused on M&A and financial advisory transactions.
Before Endeavor, as Managing Partner of Amari, an early-stage investment and consulting firm she founded, Eloho conceptualised, designed and launched ‘Lagos Innovates’, a portfolio of startup support programs, currently operated by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.
Eloho is passionate about entrepreneurship and believes that entrepreneurship, at scale, is the best tool for economic empowerment in developing markets. She holds an MBA from the London Business School and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
