Duncan Jepson founded Liberty Asia in 2012 and serves as Managing Director. In 2013, Liberty Asia received a Google Ideas Award and Duncan was recently nominated as one of the Top 10 innovative lawyers in the Asia Pacific. With a grant from the U.S. State J-TIP Dept. in 2014, Liberty Asia developed and now offers the first community available victim case management system using Salesforce CRM technology, helping the community organize case data more rigorously. Liberty Asia is one of the few NGOs to support FATF and APG on matters relating to human trafficking and modern slavery. A corporate lawyer by profession starting in corporate finance, Duncan worked in investment management focusing on regional M&A, governance, product development, and white-collar crime investigation. He was at ING Investment Management Asia Pacific for nine years where he was Regional General Counsel and Head of Compliance, and was then head of legal for BNY Mellon Investment Management Asia Pacific.
