Donald Kaberuka became Chair in May 2019. Dr. Kaberuka was president of the African Development Bank and chairman of its board of directors from 2005-2015. Prior to that he was finance minister of Rwanda from 1997-2005, during which he also served as governor for Rwanda for the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
