Diana Chavez

First woman to chair the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights. She sits on various advisory bodies, including ASUR (ASR NYSE, BMV), the Centre for Sports & Human Rights and UNITAR’s Board of Trustees, where she serves as Vice Chair. Prior to this, was the Director of the Regional Center for the UN Global Compact in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her professional career includes experience in sustainability, multilateral processes, mergers of international corporations, diplomacy, and corporate protocol. As part of her work in the public sector, she directed projects to attract foreign investment and strengthen the relationship with Fortune 500 companies with operations in emerging economies. She holds an undergraduate degree in English literature, with studies in national security and negotiation, and master’s degrees in International Relations and Business Administration.
