David Magid is the founder of YSG, he is an executive with over 10 years of experience in the energy industry. David has designed, managed and developed several MW of rooftop solar throughout the Northeast. He operates YSG’s rooftop business along with C&I project development efforts. His areas of expertise include: prospecting, site due diligence, contract negotiation and system design. Most recently David had been named to Forbes “30 under 30” list in 2018. Prior to founding YSG Solar, David worked for an energy efficiency company focused on demand-side management. He has successfully operated teams of energy auditors, engineers and various trade contractors. David has a wide-range of experience in the implementation of clean energy technologies such as geothermal, wind, storage and energy management systems.
