Daniel Palacios was the minister of interior of Colombia between January 2021 and August 2022. Palacios has a Political Science degree from the University of Florida and has a masters degree in Government with emphasis in Defense and National Security from Harvard University, from where he also has a certificate in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation.
He has also served as Vice Minister of Political Relations, Council City Member of Bogotá and private Secretary to former President Alvaro Uribe.
In addition, he is a lieutenant in the National Army Reserve.
