Dan Smoot is CEO of Vantor, where he is leading the company’s push to forge the new frontier of spatial intelligence. Over the past three decades, he has helped scale some of the world’s most innovative software and IT companies and worked closely with the defense and intelligence communities to integrate cutting-edge technologies into national security architectures. Today, he is guiding Vantor’s evolution toward secure, software-enabled products that enable government and commercial customers to build the autonomous, interoperable systems of the future.
Prior to Vantor, Dan served as CEO of Riverbed Technology and held senior leadership roles at Salesforce, VMware, and Cisco. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from UC Irvine and serves on the board of the American Heart Association’s Western Affiliate.
