Sustainability professional and researcher with over 15 years of experience in interdisciplinary research, policy evaluation and development, multi-stakeholder engagement, and consultancy with the United Nations, specialized agencies, the public and private sectors, and non-governmental organizations, providing high level scientific and policy advice in both research and regulatory-compliance settings. My current work focuses on the conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity and ecosystems for human health and well-being to support the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Specializations include: international environmental policy; biodiversity conservation; mainstreaming biodiversity and health in national and regional policies and strategies; One Health; sustainable management and use of biological resources; the provision of ecosystem services; energy policy and climate change.
