Claudette A. Workman is the Assistant Commissioner for the Office of Special Events at the New York City Department of Transportation. She oversees the planning and coordination of more than 5,000 large-scale events each year, including the NYC Marathon, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Times Square New Year’s Eve. With over 37 years of experience in city operations and infrastructure planning, she specializes in delivering safe, sustainable, and large-scale events that shape New York City’s global legacy.
