Christine Armario is a journalist with The Associated Press covering the Andean region. She has reported on the plight of Venezuelan migrants, trekking with a mother and daughter fleeing by foot across three countries, documented the struggles of former guerrillas transitioning to civilian life and searched high and low for Bogota’s best ajiaco. She is a graduate of Columbia University’s School of Journalism and a 2012 International Center for Journalists fellow.
