Catherine Semcer is a research fellow with the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC). Her research focuses on conservation geopolitics, environmental security, and sustainability, especially as they relate to the African continent. Prior to joining PERC Catherine was part of the executive team of a US NGO supporting anti-poaching programs in Africa. She is a past Senior Washington, DC Representative for Sierra Club and began her career at McKinsey & Company.
