Ms. Catalina Garcia is the Global Director of Corporate Affairs at AB InBev and the Board Director of its Foundation. Most of her work centers on implementing AB InBev’s corporate affairs and social impact strategies, focusing on social norms marketing, road safety, entrepreneurship, and foundations ecosystem across six zones. In addition, she manages AB InBev’s partnerships with several United Nations agencies and multilateral organizations like the IDB and directs the company’s global responsible drinking strategy. She holds a degree in industrial engineering from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia, and has worked for several multinational companies in the consumer goods, mining, technology, and communications sectors.
Ms. Garcia has served on several global boards. She is currently at the Social Marketing Association of North America (SMANA), Business for Impact at Georgetown University, IAVE, and Latimpacto. She is co-author of the “How Business Can Drive Inclusive Growth and has contributed to several publications in Social Marketing.
