Caroline Roan

Caroline Roan is president of the Pfizer Foundation and also oversees Pfizer’s corporate responsibility (CR) function, from stakeholder engagement and reporting, to the design of social investment strategies. During her tenure, the Pfizer Foundation has refined its strategy to better address today’s highly complex global health challenges. The resulting CR portfolio is a coordinated approach to strategic philanthropy and responsible investment which invests the full scope of the company’s resources to broaden access to medicines and strengthen health care delivery for underserved people around the world. She oversees a team based in New York, Switzerland and Kenya. She underscores through her work that Pfizer is motivated to help build the world’s capacity to deliver good healthcare and, in particular, to help those who cannot easily access the company’s medicines and vaccines.
