Benjamin Plumer is a Director at Montfort Group, where he leads the firm’s client relationships across business development and strategy. Working directly with principals, Plumer designs and executes engagement strategies that advance client objectives, providing critical insights and intelligence and translating high-value relationships into outcomes.
Previously, Plumer served as Head of External Relations and Strategy at Concordia, working directly with the Chief Executive Officer over eight years to build and steward a leadership architecture spanning more than 160 critical relationships. Tasked with creating the Advisory Council, Plumer developed it into a vital leadership body before expanding his oversight to include Concordia’s Board of Directors and Leadership Council, undertaking structural and governance initiatives to ensure the active engagement, health, and sustained growth of each. As an elected officer of the institution, he served as Corporate Secretary, ensuring the proper functioning of the Board and all constituent committees.
After eight years with Concordia, Plumer joined the Advisory Council and remains actively engaged in supporting Concordia. Plumer also serves on the White House Historical Association’s Next Gen Leaders program, advancing education and public understanding of America’s executive mansion and its history. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Trinity College, where he rowed on the Men’s Crew team. A native New Yorker, Plumer is an ardent supporter of the opera, ballet, and Tottenham Hotspur.
