Beatriz Guillén is a Senior Executive in the area of Social Innovation. As part of its work, it has supported the start-up and consolidation of this area of CAF that acts as a laboratory to identify ideas, tools and services for the development of useful and sustainable solutions to social challenges in the region. Prior to CAF, Beatriz focused her work in the area of microfinance with a focus on agrofinances for small producers mainly in Kenya, Ethiopia, India and some Latin American countries with clients such as the BBVA Microfinance Foundation, TechnoServe, Jain Irrigation, KfW and the World Bank. Beatriz holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis in political and economic development from the University of Columbia (New York, United States) and a degree in Humanities and Journalism from the Universities Pompeu Fabra and Abat Oliba CEU (Barcelona, Spain).
