Anastasia Elpida Kokkota

Elpida Kokkota, a social innovator, champions women’s economic empowerment globally. With 18 years of international experience in social impact, she founded Mexoxo and pursues a PhD in Economics and Gender Equity. Under her leadership, Mexoxo has empowered 142,000 women by democratizing access to education. Elpida surpassed her Clinton Global Initiative pledge by educating 100,000 women in just one year and was recognized as a European Obama Leader in 2023. Her life mission is to empower 5 million women by 2030,   through education. Beyond her professional achievements, Elpida volunteers extensively, supports LGBTQI+ communities, speaks four languages, and is authoring a book on women’s experiences.
