As Vice President and Senior Advisor, Amy provides leadership and strategic guidance in advancing Human Rights First’s mission and the organization’s priority campaigns. She is currently leading the effort to launch a campaign to dismantle the business of human trafficking. She previously served as Human Rights First’s Chief of Staff and Deputy Director, helping to managing the day-to-day operations of the organization working with both the program and operations side of the organization and the Board of Directors to facilitate the achievement of the organization’s objectives.

Before joining Human Rights First, Amy worked as public relations consultant and served as Managing Director for Women’s Campaign Fund, a bi-partisan political organization dedicated to electing women to political office at all levels. Prior to leading Women’s Campaign Fund, Amy worked as a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Department of State focused on media and congressional relations for the U.S. delegation to the U.N. Fourth World Conference on Women. Earlier in her career, Amy ran the Washington office of Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies and served as a Legislative Aide for Congressman Harley Staggers, Jr..

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Franklin & Marshall College. She earned a Master’s degree in Multicultural Education from Eastern University and was a Klingenstein Fellow at Columbia University.
