Alise Marshall is the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and Impact for Pinterest, leading a team of professionals focused on sustainability, social impact, ESG and partnerships across the private, public and third sectors. For more than a decade, her work has been guided by the core goal of increasing pathways to opportunity for historically underserved communities to ensure meaningful and lasting change. Prior to Pinterest, Alise was Director of Strategy & New Ventures at Public Welfare Foundation – a national social justice accelerator, and prior to that she was Senior Manager for Economic Opportunity at Walmart, Inc., leading the U.S. Manufacturing, Inclusive Economies, and Small Business portfolios at Walmart Foundation. Before transitioning into the private sector in 2017, Alise served for 6 years in the Obama Administration as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education. Alise is based in the Washington, D.C. area with her husband and daughter.
