Since 2017, Ms. Beccaro coordinates the Technical Secretariat of the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund for Sustaining Peace in Colombia. Previously, she worked for more than 10 years with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, initially with the Legal Assistance Program for Latin America and the Caribbean, strengthening justice systems and rule of law, in particular fighting against organised crime and money laundering and then, she served as a program officer in Colombia supervising operations of the agency in the country.
Alice Beccaro holds a Master in Laws of the University of London, UCL and Queen Mary and a law degree from the University of Bologna. She also holds post degrees in Human Rights and IHL; and International Cooperation and Project Management from Externado University of Colombia.
