Raised in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, Congressman Abraham “Abe” Hamadeh is proud
to represent the community that shaped his values and helped his family achieve the American
Dream.
The son of immigrants who fled oppressive regimes in the Middle East, Abe remembers the
moment his family moved into their first home near Happy Valley Road and 67th Avenue — a
milestone that showed how hard work and faith could turn opportunity into reality. Those roots
drive his commitment to keeping that same promise alive for families across Arizona.
After earning his law degree, Abe served as a Maricopa County prosecutor—standing up for
victims, holding criminals accountable, and defending justice. He also answered the call to serve
in uniform as a U.S. Army Reserve Captain and Intelligence Officer, helping to identify and stop
terrorist threats following the 2019 Pensacola attack. In Congress, Abe brings that same sense of
duty to his work on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Veterans’ Affairs
Committee—fighting to ensure our service members are protected abroad and cared for at home.
Guided by his family’s journey and his faith in America’s promise, Congressman Hamadeh is
working to preserve freedom, strengthen national security, and keep the American Dream alive
for future generations.
